Many people are more successful in learning a foreign language by the aid of images. Pictures or drawings already support the learning process while learning a foreign language. Though there are a lot of problems with those usually used images. It is not easy to interpret most of this pictures, because they are not clear and unequivocal enough, thus they are capable of being misunderstood.

The project dictionary image shows a pictograph system designed for adults to improve the learning of a language. The pictographs are simple shaped and have abstracted figurative forms. They are modular, and each icon fits in well with the entire system.

Finally cards were implemented, which playful can be used in order to practice vocabulary. Phrases can be created by combining the cards.
